Out of the Blue!

The “Out of the Blue!” catalog accompanies the exhibition of artworks acquired by MARe as part of the “It’s Blue!” campaign, initiated by the Library in response to the pandemic crisis. The campaign aimed to support the Romanian artistic community during the challenging period of the lockdown. The catalog features reproductions of the selected works for the exhibition, along with critical texts that provide insights into each represented artist. This publication not only documents the collection but also contributes to understanding the impact of the pandemic on art and artists in Romania.
